This is how it works
To take out a guarantee via MijnVWE is simple and completely digital. When selling a vehicle, you simply choose the desired Autotrust package, fill in some details and complete the application directly.
Autotrust then arranges registration and processing completely automatically. All claims go through the Autotrust Portal, so you don't have to do anything further. You will receive the full sales amount for the car and a fee per warranty sold. In short: minimal effort, maximum return.

How do I take out an AutoTrust Guarantee in MijnVWE?
- Log in at MijnVWE.
- Navigate to Vehicles > Ad Management.
- Select a vehicle and open the vehicle file.
- Click ‘close guarantee’.
- Please complete the requested information and select your preferred warranty.
- Claim the warranty.
- The warranty is automatically registered and managed by AutoTrust.
How are the claims handled?
All claims are fully handled by AutoTrust via the AutoTrust Portal.
How do I take out a guarantee?
Direct in MijnVWE – fast, digital, and fully integrated into your sales process.
Is the warranty transferable if the car is resold?
No, the warranty is linked to the buyer and the vehicle.
How do I receive my €50 margin from AutoTrust?
You do not receive a separate payment. The portal always shows you a price that is €50 higher than what VWE invoices you for the warranty, and you pass that portal amount on to the car buyer. For example, if a warranty costs €200 (the base amount, which varies per warranty), you will see €250 in the portal and you charge that to the buyer. In that case, VWE only invoices you the €200, so you immediately keep the €50 difference yourself. There is no subsequent crediting.

Do I get a commission for each warranty sold?
Yes. Every warranty includes a fixed margin of €50 for you. That margin is already included in the price you see in the portal and ask the car buyer, so you don't need to do anything extra for it.
How long does an Autotrust Warranty last?
Choose for 6, 12 or 24 months, depending on the package and the age of the vehicle.
Can I also offer guarantees on electric vehicles?
Yes, AutoTrust offers EV warranties with coverage for the drivetrain, battery, and electrical components, among other things.
