Why check driving license via VWE?
When you hand in a vehicle for a test drive or rental, you want to make sure everything is in order. An easy way to reduce the risk of theft and fraud is to check the driver's license. Checking a driving license from VWE allows you to quickly and easily check whether the driving license is valid.
How does it work?
The 'Document Verification System' service checks with the RDW which status the driving license has: valid or invalid. By entering the driver's license number and date of birth, you will immediately find out whether it is a valid driver's license. Important to apply before, for example, a test drive!
