Quicker inclusion of your own vehicles in your business inventory
From 2 January, you will no longer need a document number and registration code if you want to include your own vehicles or a vehicle with an issued reservation in your company stock. Handy!
If the vehicle is already registered in your company’s name, or if you have a provision to reserve it and wish to add it to your own company stock, then you will no longer need a document number and registration codes. You can add the vehicle to your company stock by simply providing the vehicle’s registration number and the notification code.
Extra check
Checking if you have included the correct vehicle in your company inventory? This is possible. With a document number and registration code, you can always see if the correct vehicle has been included. If you also provide the license plate number, the RDW will check if the license plate number corresponds to the provided document number.
