Can I cancel or return my order?
Because the Type Approval Data Declaration is generated based on your provided registration number, the order cannot be cancelled or returned after processing. However, vwe.nl does offer a ‘not satisfied, money back’ guarantee if the VTG is not accepted. The original document must then be returned within 15 days.
In which languages is the VTG available?
The Type Approval Data Declaration is available in English, German, French and Dutch.
What is the difference between a VTG and a COC?
A type-approval declaration is not an official document, but a printout of the technical data known to the RDW. In some countries, an official document is required, in which case you need a COC. A VTG is a much faster and more cost-effective alternative that contains the same data as the COC, but is not always accepted by all inspection bodies.
In which countries is the VTG accepted?
The Type Approval Certificate data is accepted in the vast majority of EU member states, but not in Portugal, Croatia, Belgium and Spain. Are you in doubt whether the document will be accepted in your country of destination? Please contact us in advance. Contact with us.
You can apply for a VTG for which vehicles?
The VTG is only available for passenger vehicles with a Dutch license plate from 1996 onwards. Applications for commercial vehicles, motorcycles, caravans, trailers or vintage cars cannot be processed.
