How does the Physical Sample Check work?

1.
You submit the necessary documents via your reporting point's electronic mailbox. This includes Part II Export Declaration, Invoice, Sales Agreement, and/or other documents. The reporting points can be reached at the e-mail addresses below:
- Schiphol Cargo Customs Office (0432): Douane.DSC.Uitvoer.AGS@belastingdienst.nl
- Customs Office Rotterdam Rijnmond (0396): Douane.DBR.Uitvoer.AGS@belastingdienst.nl
2.
Once Customs has received the documents, you will be contacted within a maximum of 120 minutes regarding the physical inspection. If Customs cannot carry out the inspection within the response time, Customs will contact you as soon as possible. If you have any questions about the inspection in the meantime, the declaration points can be reached on the following telephone numbers:
- Customs Declaration Processing Schiphol Cargo (0432): 088-1582000
- Customs Declaration Processing Rotterdam Rijnmond (0396): 088-1514100
3.
After the physical inspection, the declaration point sends the signal to Customs to release the document. The released document will then automatically appear in your transaction overview in Mijn VWE, under Mijn Bedrijf.
