Changes to the use of the NAP logo

From 1 April, the National Car Pass (NAP) logo will be a quality label that is henceforth linked to the car and no longer to the company. This means that you may no longer use the NAP logo as an expression for your company from that date onwards.

What does this mean to you?

From 1 April, you may only display the NAP logo on vehicles for which the mileage is correct and has been checked in the RDW's registration register. Therefore, ensure that you implement the following changes in good time:

  • From 1 April 2015 It is no longer permitted to use the NAP logo on your website, stationery, business cards, window stickers, flags, and advertising pillars.
  • Expressions for which an investment of more than €2,500 must be made to adapt them, may by 1 January 2016 at the latest to be postponed. This could include large advertising columns or billboards.

Control

The use of the NAP logo will be checked by RDW's company inspectors. You can find more information about this change on the RDW website. www.rdw.nl/mileagereadings
