Striking trends in the used car market
The National Used Car Research 2023 is a collaboration between trade magazine Automobiel Management and vehicle data expert VWE Automotive.
This research shows a number of striking trends:
- Companies are seeing their business inventories rise, while at the same time used car prices have been falling since the start of the year.;
- the import of cars in almost all age categories is declining;
- a shift towards EVs and (Plug-in) Hybrid vehicles, and
- the decrease in the export of petrol cars.
