The used car market has remained stable in recent weeks. Last week, we reported solid growth. Now there has been a slight decline of 2.8%, with a total of 24,457 used cars sold. Over the past period, a healthy 25,000 used cars have been sold per week. And last week, car dealers sold 4.4% more used cars than over the same period in 2019.

We also see a decrease of 1.7% in the number of used cars added to car dealerships’ stock. Last week, a total of 58,602 vehicles were added to stock. This is 1.4% more than last year.

Export slightly increased
Exports of used cars rose by a few per cent last week. A total of 7,728 vehicles were exported, representing an increase of 4.2%. Compared with the same period last year, this represents a decrease of 2.5%.

Over 150,000 APKs!
Last week, the number of MOT tests rose by 2.9% to a total of 150,469. This is the highest number of MOT tests carried out since the beginning of July this year. Compared with the same period last year, this represents an increase of 1.4%.
