VWE partner Autotrust has extended the Instap Garantie scheme to cover used cars up to 16 years old and with a mileage of up to 200,000 kilometres. This enables car dealers to sell older, technically sound used cars with greater confidence, with cover across Europe and a straightforward application process via MijnVWE.

From 1 October 2025, VWE will collaborate with Financial Lease Partner as its new financing partner. This will strengthen our service to car companies and their customers. Financial Lease Partner is known for its broad financing options, high acceptance and quick response - and also offers car companies an attractive revenue model.

From 1 January 2026, a significant change will be implemented in Spain: all municipalities with more than 20,000 inhabitants will be required to introduce a low-emission zone (ZBE – Zona de Bajas Emisiones). Currently, this applies to municipalities with at least 50,000 inhabitants. This means that a low-emission sticker will be required for vehicles with a low environmental class in many more places than before. Are you travelling to Spain by car?
