“Where can I find the documents for a transaction?”
Many transactions you can do through My VWE result in a document. For example, a release certificate, a showroom card or a vehicle registration certificate part 2 (in case of export). A common question is “where can I find the documents of a transaction?”. We will be happy to explain!
Vehicle file
In Mijn VWE, you can request a vehicle file for each vehicle. This provides you with all information about a vehicle and is the portal to take actions concerning this vehicle. However, this is also where documents from transactions you have carried out with this vehicle are collected. You will find it as follows:
- Log in to My VWE
- Go to ‘Vehicles’
- Enter the licence plate in the search bar
4. At the bottom of the page, you will find the ‘Documents’ block’
Here you will find all documents from the transactions you have made with this vehicle.
Transaction overview
Is the document you're looking for not in the vehicle file? Or are you looking for the documents of a vehicle whose registration number you don't have to hand? You can then find the documents in the transaction overview. You can find this as follows:
- Log in to My VWE
- Go to ‘My business’
- Click on ‘Transactions’
- Using the filter on the right-hand side of the page, you can select the period and/or the relevant service.
For direct printing, click on the printer icon next to the relevant transaction. Alternatively, click on the transaction to save the document.
